What it does

Explain gives you a short summary and goes further than Summarize: it explains what needs to be done according to the text, the author's arguments and logic, and the technical terms and topics the model knows about. The result is shown in a separate window (not inserted into the document), so you can read or copy it.

Where to find it

Word ▸ Logiks Copilot tab ▸ Task ▸ Analyze ▸ Explain

How to use it

  1. Select the text you want explained.
  2. Open the Analyze menu and click Explain.
  3. Read the explanation in the window that appears; you can edit and copy it.

Tips

  • Great for getting up to speed on an unfamiliar or technical document before you work on it.
  • The result is shown separately, so it never alters your text — copy out only what you need.
