What it does

Translate translates your selected text into another language and replaces it. Logiks Copilot keeps the original style and, in case of doubt, uses a formal tone (for example, English "you" becomes German "Sie" unless the text is clearly informal).

Where to find it

Word ▸ Logiks Copilot tab ▸ Task. There are three ways to translate:

  • English / German — one-click buttons for your two preset languages.

  • Translate — choose any other language (type its English name, e.g. "French").

  • Translate Text/Files — translate the selection, or whole files when nothing is selected.

How to use it

Translate selected text

  1. Select the text.

  2. Click English or German, or click Translate and type the target language in English.

  3. The translation replaces your selection.

Translate whole documents or a folder

  1. Select no text, and make sure the target document is closed.

  2. Click Translate Text/Files and choose a Word file or a folder.

  3. Logiks Copilot translates each file paragraph by paragraph, preserving formatting. Each result is saved with a language suffix (e.g. _English).

Tips & requirements

  • Set your two preset languages under Settings. Always enter language names in English (e.g. "French", not "Français").

  • For translations we recommend a low model temperature (around 0.2).

  • Translation quality depends on the AI model you have configured.
