What it does

Dictate lets you speak and have your words inserted as text into the document. You can also give the AI special instructions for post-processing (for example, "turn this into three short letters").

Where to find it

Word ▸ Logiks Copilot tab ▸ Task ▸ Dictate

How to use it

  1. Place the cursor where the text should go.
  2. Click Dictate and start speaking.
  3. Your speech is inserted as text.

Requirements

Requires a configured speech-to-text model; the button appears only when one is available.

Tips

  • Speak naturally and add an instruction like "make this three bullet points" — the AI can post-process what you said.
  • Position the cursor first; the text is inserted there.
  • Needs a configured speech-to-text model.
