What it does

Read selected text aloud reads your current selection out loud using a text-to-speech model. Run the command again to stop playback.

How to use it

  1. Select the text you want to hear.
  2. Click Read selected text aloud.
  3. Click it again to stop.

Requirements

Requires a configured text-to-speech model.

  • Reading a draft aloud is a quick way to catch clumsy phrasing your eyes skip over.
