Translate PDFs and keep the original layout
Today, when you ask the Assistant to translate a PDF, you get the translated text in a newly formatted document. Drawings, tables, logos and the page layout of the original are lost.
With this feature, the Assistant gives you a translated copy that looks just like the original:
Every page keeps its drawings, tables, logos, lines and page size.
The text is replaced by the translation in the same place, so page 7, table 3 of the translation is page 7, table 3 of the original.
Numbers, dimensions, units and standard references stay exactly as they are — important for plans and technical reports.
The translated text stays searchable and can be copied.
Your original file is never changed.
It works for any language pair your Assistant supports. Scanned PDFs (images without a text layer) are not included in the first version.
